Címone JBS is a UK artist with a bold voice and a genre-bending sound that defies convention. Raised in Bradford on the rich Caribbean rhythms of her family’s heritage and now based in London, her musical journey began in a moment of pure serendipity—when house icon Kerri Chandler handed her the mic mid-set at Mint Festival. That spontaneous performance led to her debut release on Nervous Records, igniting a recording career marked by authenticity and experimentation.
Since then, Címone has brought her sound to international stages, recorded with and performed alongside dance music heavyweights like Kerri Chandler, Loco Dice and Black Coffee. This encouraged her to make the daring leap from a career in law to pursue music full-time. Today she’s emerged from her house music roots into an evolving sound that blends storytelling with cinematic depth, shaped by an eclectic mix of influences.
